Our sourdough buns come from Western Australia’s famous monastic bakery
New Norcia Bakeries.
In response to increasing concerns about wheat allergies and intolerance, New Norcia has developed a genuine sourdough spelt bread. Spelt has larger amounts of protein than common wheat grain and is more soluble and easily digestible, even by many people normally gluten intolerant.
Our lightly toasted sourdough buns from New Norcia retain the majority of the nutritional bran and germ in the grain and, while there is no added suger, have a sweet nutty flavour.

Certified Australian Angus Beef ///
Certified Australian Angus Beef (CAAB) is Australia’s only certified Angus beef system. Angus is grain fed producing a consistently high marble score and superior taste.
From the late 1700s in Scotland, Angus was bred to be the highest quality beef. Angus is now the dominant breed in major beef producing countries where beef quality is considered all-important.
The CAAB program covers all aspects of production providing safe, disease free, marbled beef. DNA technology is used to ensure meat is fully traceable. Angus CAAB does not contain any artificial or chemical growth stimulants.

Free of growth promotants and hormones,
Mt Barker’s Free Range Chickens roam on natural pastures during the day and are sheltered at night.
Raised on a wholesome mix of the best grains Western Australia has to offer, the chickens are not force fed and have 24 hour access to food and drink resulting in a chicken with fuller flavour that is healthy and lean.
